VERTICAL MAPPING RESOURCES AWARDED YAVAPAI COUNTY 2010-2011 AERIAL MAPPING CONTRACT
Services provided include topographic mapping and digital orthophotography of approximately 140 square miles for the Yavapai County Flood Control District.
 November 5th, 2010, Scottsdale, Ariz. - Vertical Mapping Resources, Inc., a leading photogrammetric and geospatial land information firm with offices in both California and Arizona, was recently awarded the 2010-2011 aerial mapping contract for the Yavapai County Flood Control District. The purpose of the project will be to develop digital topography, planimetrics and orthophotography of various areas within Yavapai County.
This is the second consecutive, high-profile contract VMR has been awarded by the County. In 2007, VMR performed similar services covering approximately 190 square miles within Yavapai County. The current project scope will focus on the areas surrounding Ashfork, Dewey-Humboldt, Skull Valley, Wickenburg and Williamson Valley. Final deliverables will include 1”=100’ mapping with 2’ contours, as well as color digital orthophotography with .25’ pixel GSR.
