VERTICAL MAPPING RESOURCES AWARDED ON-CALL MAPPING CONTRACT FOR THE FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY
Scottsdale, Arizona, October 17th, 2005 – Scottsdale, Arizona-based Vertical Mapping Resources (VMR) has been awarded an On-call Surveying and Mapping Services Contract for the Flood Control District of Maricopa County. The performance period of the contract will extend for next two years and will involve mapping related projects including aerial photography, photogrammetric mapping, planimetric compilation, orthophotographic rectification, photogrammetric scanning, and digital terrain modeling. VMR’s headquarters is located within the county of Maricopa and employees are excited to begin work in the area they call home. “We will always enjoy working with new faces and applying our services in new areas of the country, but this contract is satisfying on a different level,” informed Joseph Bartorelli, President of Vertical Mapping Resources. “I think it was a logical decision to select our company for this contract. With VMR being located right here in the valley, the Flood Control District can definitely expect the quickly executed, quality production that others have received from us over the years.” The Flood Control District of Maricopa County contract will begin this month. Vertical Mapping Resources will remain in close contact with the district for the entirety of the contract in order to guarantee exemplary performance.
