VERTICAL MAPPING RESOURCES REVISITS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PROJECT
Scottsdale, Arizona, August 26th 2005 – Scottsdale, Arizona-based Vertical Mapping Resources (VMR) will be returning to Riverside County, California for the latest in a series of projects along the Cajalco roadway. For this latest extension, VMR will be providing black-and-white orthophotography, digital terrain models including 1 meter contours, and design scale planimetrics for a 17 square mile area just south of Lake Matthews. The mapping will be prepared at a metric scale of 1:1000 and will meet CALTRANS standards and ASPRS Class 1 accuracies. The project will be accomplished in partnership with CALTRANS and other private entities. The ultimate application of the project will be the conversion of Cajalco Road into a major traffic way that connects the I-15 and I-215 freeways.
